All visitors / any maintenance workers are required to sign in and out. They are closely supervised throughout the duration of their visit. At no time will they be left unaccompanied with any of our children.

Developing
the imagination

At Training Depot Day Nursery we believe that play is a fundamental element of each child's learning and development. We have a wide range of toys and equipment to encourage your child to learn through exploration, discovery and enjoyment.

A range of toys and equipment are displayed at the children's eye level which enables every child to make their own choices.

Drawing, painting and modelling.

Art, craft and cookery.

Music, movement, instruments, singing and dancing - activities featuring the children's work are performed. We have extra curriculum activities including sessions with Jo Jingles, Sing & Sign and Active Luton.

Dressing up, role play, story telling with acting and drama play - including concerts for parents.

Indoor and outdoor safe and secure, supervised play areas are checked regularly. Equipment is also risk assessed. Training Depot Day Nursery staff arrange educational visits and trips, often with parents accompanying us. Parent participation is encouraged during many nursery sessions, particularly when related to the theme being delivered.

Enjoying such busy days, we are aware infants and younger children require regular sleep and rest. Quiet areas are set aside for relaxation and rest. These are used when children require some rest time.

"Keep up the good work and thanks for the input you've given to my children's schooling experience."
